Rates and Bookings

Your reservation is considered to be “booked" once we receive your Credit Card information. You are agreeing at the time of booking the reservation to our Reservation Policy that is detailed below. Occupancy tax is required to be collected on all properties, per the State of California in addition to a cleaning/security deposit.

Deposits
A cleaning/security deposit of $500 is required. This deposit must be received at the time of booking. The deposit is not applied toward rent, however it is fully refundable within 10 days of departure, provided no damage is done to property or its contents beyond normal wear and tear. Properties that require above average cleaning at the time of checkout will have an additional fee deducted from the security deposit.

Cancellation & Refunds

Written notification is required for cancellation. If written notification is received more than 60 days prior to the arrival date, all payments received, minus a 10% cancellation fee, will be refunded. If cancellation occurs within 60 days of arrival, any refund is subject to the ability to re-rent the property. If the property is not re-rented, no money will be refunded. If the property is re-rented, all payments, minus a $150 cancellation fee, will be refunded for the period of time the property is re-rented.

Check In/Check Out

If the house is ready to go we will accommodate check in’s as early as 11:00. Please check with us to go over 1 week prior to your check in.  We ask that you check in no later than 5:00 pm 

Our phone number is 805.758.0203 Office hours are 9AM to 5PM Monday through Friday. We are available Saturday and Sunday and evenings by advance appointment, and closed on major holidays. Check In arrangements will be made depending on your arrival time. We have an ‘on call’ pager for emergencies when you are in occupancy in one of our houses. Our on-call pager is 805.758.0203.
Check in is 3:00 PM and Check Out is 11AM. Early checks in times are allowed only when the property is cleaned and ready for occupancy and prior approval is required. Early check-out is essential to allow time for our housekeeping staff to prepare the home for the next guest. There is an extra charge for late check out and prior approval is needed. Please assure that all doors are locked, windows are secured, all lights and heat are turned off, and all furniture and other contents are in original condition. Failure to comply will result in an additional cleaning charge to be deducted from Guest’s security deposit. EVR is not responsible for items left in the rental home.

Occupancy
The owners of these vacation homes have graciously furnished their homes for your comfort and pleasure. Please respect and care for it as if it were your own.

This property requires a 2 night minimum stay on all non-holiday reservations. Holiday reservations have a 3-night or more minimum (Depending on the house.) Guest(s) agree that the number of registered occupants should be stated at the time of booking  & do not exceed the agreed number of guests on the property. If the occupants exceeds original contract, written approval must be submitted, and an extra guest or event charge will be required. You must notify EVR of any event you’d like to plan during your stay. If event is scheduled without notification, you will be charged our special event rates without negotiation. No vendors allowed on property without permission of EVR.

Guest(s) also understand that EVR has no control over acts of nature. In the unlikely event said property cannot be rendered to Guest(s) as agreed upon due to circumstances beyond the control of EVR, monies will be refunded or the Guest may agree to be placed in an available property with similar features.

Internet and Telephone
Wireless internet access is available with your portable computer. Cell phone service is accessible, however, there is no landline at the property.

Maid Service and Linens
Rent includes a professional cleaning upon exit. Maid service is not provided during tenancy but can be requested from EVR at additional charge. Linens and towels are provided for each bedroom. Rollaway beds, bedding and linens are available for an additional charge. Please notify EVR 14 days in advance to ensure availability of rollaway beds. There will be an extra charge for cleaning beyond normal wear and tear.

Kitchen
Your kitchen is not stocked with groceries. If you would like us to stock your refrigerator, we’d be happy to do it for you with a 24-hour advance notice. Additional costs apply and there is a $50 delivery charge. We do provide you with cookware, utensils, dishware, coffee, teas, sugar, salt and pepper. The grocery store is 3 miles from the property as well as other amenities you can find in town. In addition, an organic market is located 1 mile from the property called “the Farmer and the Cook".

Smoking
All EVR vacation rentals are NON-SMOKING. Ashtrays are provided on all outdoor patios for your smoking convenience.

Children
Due to non-gated pool, hot tub, and large open fireplaces, EVR Requires that  a liability waiver be signed prior to check in.

Emergencies
For a true emergency, dial 911. For emergency management services, please call our office during business hours at 805.758.0203. After business hours, please call our on-call pager at 805.758.0203.

Lock out Policy
In the event a Guest becomes locked out of a home during the rental period, the office should be called and a key may be picked up at the office during business hours. After business hours, the Guest may call the on-call pager and office personnel will return the call as soon as practicable and arrange to meet the Guest at the office. A fee of $50 will be collected from the Guest at time service is rendered.

Maintenance/Refunds
Please report any inoperative equipment in your vacation home to the EVR office promptly. EVR will make every reasonable effort to have the problem corrected. Under no circumstances will there be a reduction of rent.

Pool and Hot Tub
Guest(s) understand and agree that there is a swimming pool and hot tub on the property. Guest(s) assume any and all risks associated with the pool and EVR does not imply or provide any guard or supervision of the use of the pool or hot tub.

Indemnification and Hold Harmless
Guest(s) agree to indemnify and hold harmless EVR for any liabilities, theft, damage, cost or expense whatsoever arising from or related to any claim or litigation which may arise out of or in connection with Guest(s) use and occupancy of the rental property including but not limited to any claim or liability for personal injury or damage or theft of property with is made, incurred or sustained by Guest(s).

In-house spa treatments are available with one of our preferred vendors, or spend a day touring some of the surrounding exclusive vineyards or art galleries in a luxury vehicle with a gourmet lunch!
